Wasteland Workshop’s building items aren’t too great, but it does include the ability to “recruit” various animals. Contraptions adds some cool stuff, including the ability to manufacture your own items, which I quite like. The other two DLCs are just new workshop items. I do like how it integrates settlement building into its story (or, more accurately, vice versa), but you can skip it if that doesn’t interest you. It does have a story, albeit a simple one, but it’s focused around the building system. Vault-Tec workshop also has a questline, but unlike Automatron it’s mainly focused around building the vault, clearing out areas, going out to find components and the like. It’s smaller and more linear than FH or NW, but has a price to match, and I’d recommend it. Which is fine, and it’s good to play as a raider, but it’s not as good as Far Harbor.Īutomatron is a quest DLC and I quite like it, and the Robotics System is quite fun to use.

It also tackles the issue of the main game basically forcing you to be a hero by essentially forcing you to become a villain. Nuka-World is similar, but I enjoy it less. It’s arguably superior to the main game in terms of writing and choices, in spite of the limited dialogue system. r/galaxynewsradio - Fallout-sounding musicįar Harbor is a fully proper DLC, and personally my favourite fallout experience outside of New Vegas. r/falloutcosplayers - Fallout-related cosplay r/Wasteland - A subreddit for the Wasteland games. r/thefalloutdiaries - Journal-like fan fiction. r/falloutmods - Fallout modding community r/classicfallout - Classic Fallout Games
